What is the TEKON® Affiliate Program?

We offer an excellent opportunity for just about anyone to make money selling TEKON® products. Our affiliate program is designed in such a manner that being a TEKON® affiliate creates scenarios where "you" as the seller, never have to buy, store, handle or ship the actual products to the consumer.

Note: If you are already a Tekon distributor or dealer/applicator, you can also become an affiliate and obtain additional financial benefits!

As a TEKON® affiliate, you make a generous commission from sales that you generate. You can generate sales in a number of ways, including the Internet, brochures, trade shows, personal sales parties, telemarketing and more. We do not expect affiliates to dedicate their sales effort solely to our product line but to incorporate it's sales into activities that are already taking place.


For example:
- TEKON® applicators can leave sample products with clients (for self maintenance) and ask that when they need to replace these items, they order directly from TEKON® Corporation and use a special affiliate coupon code to receive a 10% discount on regular priced items. That affiliate coupon code will credit "your" affiliate account with a 15% commission without you having to lift a finger. The customer is happy with their special discount and you get paid a commission on the subtotal (before taxes and shipping charges) of their entire purchase.

- You may already be in the business of selling on the Internet. Add one or more of TEKON's products to your existing offerings and make commissions from sales made through that medium.

- You may have one or more websites that could be linked to the TEKON® website. Simply incorporate your affiliate links inside of "stories" or "reviews" and with the proper incentives, customers will buy and create commissions for you without giving it a second thought.

-  Maybe you are totally disconnected to the cleaning business but you know someone that is. Give them a stack of your business cards (with your affiliate code) or brochures and ask that they hand them out to potential clients that they run into. They may do this as a favor to you and as a courtesy to the client. Everyone wins.


Who can qualify as a TEKON® Affiliate?

There are no up front costs involved in becoming a TEKON® affiliate. There is however a need to learn about the association you will have with TEKON®. Your key to success can be right around the corner. The specifics of becoming an affiliate will be given to those who respond with their valid name and email address.

If you are not already familiar with the quality of our line of TEKON® products, you may want to first purchase some items from our online store. Try them yourself and you'll gain a perspective that will totally outweigh any minimal amount of cash expenditure. Our best "sales pitch" will come from you after your use of the product itself. You will quickly learn why we are so passionate about our products. They are products that are so easy to apply and products that have outstanding performance.


How Do I Join the TEKON® Affiliate Program?

TEKON® is actively seeking new affiliates and it has made the process of joining our TEKON® Affiliate Program a rather painless process.

Sign up is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

  1. Sign up for a PayPal account at www.PayPal.com
     
  2. Sign up as an Affiliate.  On the signup form, give us the email of your PayPal account.
     
  3. Agree to the terms and conditions of the Affiliate Agreement below.  We will email you your Affiliate Code.  Share your Affiliate Code and start making money.

Refer products you love and your referrals will get 10% off their purchase and you'll make 15% commission on every sale.


Terms and Conditions

AFFILIATE AGREEMENT and AFFILIATE PROGRAM
This Agreement describes the Terms and Conditions for participation in the Tekon® Affiliate Program. The terms "Affiliate", "you", and "your" are referring to you, the applicant.  "we", "our" and "company" refer to Tekon®. We are independent parties and this Agreement will not form any partnership.

The Tekon® Affiliate Program is a marketing and sales plan whereby an Affiliate may earn a commission from orders that can be traced as originating from the particular Affiliate account.

Keypoints of Tekon®'s Affiliate Program:
The below shines a light on the primary points that are included in our Affiliate Program. Use the below as a "refresher" to the important pieces of information contained in our documentation but please do not use it as a substitution for reading the more verbose and detailed instructions.

The below "at a glance" list is your chance to examine whether you fully understand the Program's capabilities and limitations. By finding an item that may be "somewhat fuzzy", this review will give you an incentive to go back and read some of the included material a second time. We truly want you to be comfortable with your decisions concerning this Program because history has proven that those who are confident will be the best performers.

We want you to succeed and we want to be helpful in you gaining that success.

  • You are agreeing to promote and sell products manufactured by Tekon®.

  • You understand that we are not creating a formal partnership with each other.

  • You will be acting as an independent agent - managing your own business.

  • Your rewards for your efforts will be in the form of commissions - paid monthly.

  • Your commission rate will be 15% of the sub-total amount.

  • Your commission is earned when the system can track the origination point
    of the buyer to "your" Affiliate account - this is done by the use of a "cookie"
    that is stored on the potential buyers computer.

  • The "most recent" active Affiliate's cookie will trigger who gets credit for the sale.

  • The "cookie identity stamp" will remain in effect for up to one (1) year.

  • The Affiliate Program is only 1 level deep. No nested Affiliates.

  • Either party may terminate the relationship by written notice.

  • You may not use illegal or unaccepted methods to promote Tekon®,
    such as using spam (e.g. unsolicited mass e-mail).

  • You are restricted from using the registered trademark name "Tekon®" in
    pay-per-click advertising campaigns. This may cause unfair competition
    against the main company and minimize its ability to control its "brand".

  • The name Tekon® may be used on "landing pages" and other
    subsequent promotional materials.

  • An Affiliate is not required to pass any type of "qualifying" exam, etc.

  • An Affiliate is required to supply a Social Security # or business TIN #.

  • Affiliates must have or obtain a PayPal account for receipt of commissions. 

AGREEMENT DURATION
This Agreement will begin upon our acceptance of your Affiliate application and will end when terminated by either party.
Termination may happen at any time, with or without cause, by giving the other party written notice of termination.
Written notice may be via letter or e-mail.

MODIFICATIONS
By posting a Change Notice or a new Agreement on our website, we may modify any of the Terms and Conditions within this Agreement at any time and at our sole discretion. These modifications may include, but not limited to, changes in the scope of available referral fees, fee schedules, payment procedures and Program rules. If any of the modifications are unacceptable to you, your only recourse is to terminate this Agreement. If you continue participation in the Program following the posting of a Change Notice or new Agreement, it will be considered as your acceptance of the change.

COMMISSION FEES
You will receive 15% of the revenue (not including tax, handling charges, shipping — e.g. the subtotal) as a commission from website orders that can be traced as originating from your Affiliate account.

For a sale to generate a commission to an Affiliate, the customer must complete the order form and remit full payment for the product/service ordered. The Affiliate is responsible for creating appropriate links for their customer to gain access to www.Tekon.com, our shopping cart and online store. These links may be made from an Affiliate's website, e-mail campaign or other promotional activity.  A properly designed link is the only way Tekon® Corporation will be able to discern the originating location (e.g. the Affiliate) of a specific customer.

When a customer uses a link created by you, our software will associate that customer with your Affiliate account. This is done by the use of one or more “cookies,” that are stored on the customer’s computer. Cookies are very small digital files that contain private and secure information that may be used by specific programs during future visits to track those websites.

Our software will maintain an association between Affiliate and customer for a period of 90 days. If however a customer visits our online store by way of another "path" that uses someone else’s Affiliate link, the current association will be broken in favor of the new Affiliate. Therefore it is important that Affiliates try to maintain positive and active relationships with customers. This will help minimize the chance of a broken association happening in the first place.

When "your customers" use your Affiliate Code or link, they will receive a 10% discount off their product purchases. The 10% discount does not apply to specials, promotions or discounted items.  This is "their" incentive to use "your" promotions.

The company may also run specials which may include promotional coupons. If "your customer" uses "our" coupon at the time of purchase, they will only receive the discount associated with "that" coupon. Two coupons cannot be used at the same time. You however, will still receive the Affiliate commission on the sale (e.g. the subtotal) if that customer can be traced back to you.

Our Affiliate Program is one level deep and does not support the inclusion of sub-Affiliates. It is important that this limitation is understood by you. Affiliate commissions will only be paid on sales which are made through qualified Affiliates.

Affiliate commissions can only be earned between the acceptance of the Affiliate application and notice of termination. Commissions will be paid by Tekon® on or around the 28th of each month for sales from the previous month. Any returned checks, chargebacks, or fees from a returned order will be adjusted in the following commission payment. Unless other arrangements have been made, a $25 milestone/minimum (commissions owed to you) must be earned before Affiliate payments will be made. Any commissions earned which are less than $25 shall accrue into the next month.

Affiliates are not required to have a website but must have an e-mail address. Due to the nature of our products, many successful Affiliates are not necessarily computer literate but happen to be excellent business people in every other respect. An e-mail account however is a minimum requirement due to the way that we need to communicate with each other.

Another requirement is that all Affiliates must open and maintain a PayPal account. PayPal is the method by which you will be paid. We do not issue paper checks. If you do not already have a PayPal account, you will find the procedure straightforward and rather easy to do. You can find complete instructions at PayPal.com.

ORDER PROCESSING
Tekon® will be solely responsible for processing all orders. Customers who purchase products and services directly and solely through Tekon® will be deemed to be customers of Tekon®. Prices and availability of our products and services may vary from time to time. Tekon® Affiliate Program policies will always determine the price paid by the customer. We reserve the right to reject any order that does not comply with our rules, operating procedures and policies.

WEBSITE RESTRICTIONS
Our Tekon® Affiliate Program reserves the right to not accept any website into the Tekon® Affiliate Program based on their website content. Websites that do not qualify for the Tekon® Affiliate Program include websites that are:

  • X- rated and promotes sexually explicit materials.

  • Promoting violence and discord.

  • Promoting discrimination based on race, sex, religion,
    nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.

  • Promoting illegal or questionable activities.

  • Violating intellectual property rights.

REGISTERED TRADEMARK RESTRICTIONS
Tekon® wants all of its Affiliates to feel comfortable in the promotion of its products; however, there is a specific restriction that all Affiliates must abide by. The Tekon® name is a registered trademark. This gives the company certain rights to restrict its use.

At this time, the only limitation placed on its use is when using the name "Tekon®" as a keyword in your paid "PPC" (e. g. Pay Per Click) advertising campaigns, while using services such as Google’s Adwords. Terms such as "water repellent sealant", "protective sealants", "keep shower doors looking new" etc. are all fine. However you are not allowed to promote yourself as Tekon®. Doing so may confuse and conflict with the company’s goals and imaging. The registered name can be used in the "body" of subsequent promotional material (landing pages, website pages, etc.) but not as a "front line" advertising source. If you are not clear on this matter, it is best to submit any copy to Tekon® for review.

SPAM (UCE)
Unsolicited Commercial E-mail - our Tekon® Affiliate Program in no way participates in mass unsolicited e-mailing (i.e. spamming) and all Affiliates are expected to adhere to this policy as well. Violation of this policy will result in the termination of this contract and immediate dismissal from the Affiliate Program, with future Affiliate commissions retracted.

DISCLAIMER
We make no express or implied warranties or representations with respect to the Affiliate Program or your potential to earn income from the Tekon® Affiliate Program. In addition, we make no representation that the operation of our website or the Affiliate websites will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we will not be liable for the consequences of any interruptions or down time.

You and the Company agree that any grievance between us shall be resolved solely and exclusively by binding arbitration before an arbitrator associated with Judicate West in Orange County, California.  The arbitration fees and costs of the arbitration shall be split equally between You and the Company.  We agree that You and the Company shall bear our own respective attorney fees and costs.  You and the Company also agree that this Paragraph shall survive the termination of this Agreement.

By submitting an online Affiliate Agreement's "Signup" form and clicking on the "I agree to the Terms & conditions" box, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement and agree to all its Terms and Conditions. You have independently evaluated this Program and are not relying on any representation, guarantee, or statement other than as set forth in this Agreement.

*Please note that no commission is paid on your original purchase from Tekon®. In other words, you cannot buy from yourself or be your first purchase for the sole purpose of discounting your own product purchase.
